It has been a very boring and laid-back sem break. I realized school days were far better than staying up late in front of PC the whole week. I guess it’s the best time to sum up some good tunes to soundtrack and make this boring days into a memorable one - might not be the laziness but the feeling of carefree from school stress and sickening deadlines is one good relief. This mixtape is indeed about bumming around your room, eat once a day, stay online the whole day, smoke and smoke and smoke, get lazy! This mixtape could be a good travel-to-country-side playlist too, every track is noise-free I guarantee! =)
1. I Have Nothing - Noah and The Whale
Charlie Fink’s laid-back style of singing transforms the dramatic guitar riffs to a more relaxed one and less the tears.
2. Manhattan - Kings Of Leon
Kings of Leon is known for their signature laid-back sound but this song is a pretty laid-back song that will make you feel like you’re lying at your back in a vast corn field.
3. For Emma - Bon Iver
What I love about this song is that it sounds like it wasn’t recorded on a studio and was just sung out of boredom, hence making it an effortlessly made masterpiece.
4. My Boy Builds Coffins - Florence + The Machine
Florence + The Machine deserves a pretty decent spot on this mixtape, and this song does a great job for relaxation purposes.
5. Kimmi In A Rice Field - Twin Sister
Now, this is the gloomiest of the mixtape, This song has the power to mystify you…
6. Head First - Goldfrapp
7. House of Cards - Radiohead
8. Goshen - Beirut
A beautiful stripped-down ballad which could knock you right off of your feet.
9. Unchained Melody (Righteous Brothers Cover) - Lykke Li
10. Oviedo - Blind Pilot
11. Hysteric (Acoustic Version) - Yeah Yeah Yeahs

All of these songs are gloomy which is best listened when sad.
This is a a personal mixtape which I dedicate to my dad who is critically ill right now. It tears me apart whenever I see him cry. I never allow myself to cry whenever I’m in front of him on his bed, I would rather hide myself in my room and listen to sad songs like this. I really wish him well. I haven’t shown him enough love him yet.

Ready For The Weekend? Mixtape by Gabb (Lvcifear.tumblr.com)
This playlist is full of fun and club anthemic melodies (No hardcore house here). I selected popular club banger songs and club friendly beats so everyone (the majority) would dance on it with their friends. I could imagine I’d play this mixtape at full blasted volume with my friends dancing and jumping their ass off with a red cup at hand, dancing like there’s no tomorrow. =)
1. Lala Song feat. Sugarhill Gang - Bob Sinclair
2. Til Death (rare remix version) - Wynter Gordon
3. Make A Scene - Sophie Ellis-Bextor
4. Kickstarts - Example
5. Fascination - Alphabeat
6. Internet Connection - M.I.A
7. Cooler Couler Feat. Yelle - Crookers
8. DJ - Amanda Blank
9. Electric Feel - MGMT
10. Hands - The Ting Tings
11. Don’t Stop The Party - Black Eyed Peas
12. Who’s That Chick Feat. David Guetta - Rihanna
13. Sweat Feat. David Guetta - Snoop Dogg

Last night I decided to make a playlist out of tugs tugs (Electronic/Techno House with irresistibly intoxicating breakdown). I was inspired with my friend’s iPod that is filled with tunes as such. My favorites are Mad, Remedy (Addicted To Bass Version) and the ever classic One Love (Chuckie and Fatman Scoop Edit). I’m excited for tomorrow’s class I’m sure going to play this tunes in the class while sketching.
